Privacy Policy
Beuseful ("the app") helps users find volunteering events, register for shifts, track hours, and communicate with organizations. This policy describes what data the app collects and how it is used.
Data we collect
When you create an account and use the app, we store:
- Account information: name, email, city, profile photo (optional)
- Activity data: event registrations, favorites, contribution hours, messages with organizations, notification preferences
- Technical data: authentication tokens stored locally on your device for session management
The app uses Supabase as the backend. Data is stored in the project database.
How we use data
- Provide core app features (events, registrations, activity tracking, messaging)
- Display your profile and statistics
- Send in-app notifications about your registrations
We do not sell your personal data.
Third-party services
- Supabase — authentication, database, file storage (profile photos)
- Expo / EAS — app distribution and builds (no personal content beyond standard analytics if enabled)
Permissions
- Photo library / camera — only when you choose to update your profile photo
Data retention and deletion
You may delete your account in the app (Account → Delete account). Associated profile data, registrations, favorites, messages, and profile photos are removed. You can also email sacden@seznam.cz for help.
Children's privacy
The app is not directed at children under 13.
